Employment Opportunities - Administrative

Update: Position has been filled.

HealthStyle Fitness in Cincinnati, OHIO is currently seeking an outstanding, organized administrative professional to support the HealthStyle Fitness team in executing its mission of helping Cincinnatians to safely and effective lose weight, get in shape, and significantly enhance their health, energy and vitality!

There isn’t really a title for the job I’m looking to fill, so for lack of an accurate title I’ll just say I'm looking for a professional, upbeat, reliable and responsible professional who's willing to work hard, who is passionate about helping people, and who can find the good in almost any situation.

The person I’ll hire will be reliable beyond belief.  If that's a challenge, it's best if you pass on this opportunity, but if you have references who can verify that you do in fact live up to obligations and expectations . . . please read on.

A genuine love for people is a must.  We work with people who have physical limitations as well as high level executives, and stay at home mom's. We counsel professionals, an occasional celebrity, postal workers, teachers, doctors, teens, seniors, and a few athletes, and I encourage everyone who works with our company to treat every person as if he or she is the most important person in the world.

Perfection is a concept we may strive for, but we must accept we’ll never achieve, as to err is human.  With perfection eliminated from my list of "wants," I've learned that it’s important that we accept, recognize, and admit to the occasional errors we make.  The old proverb, “the customer is always right,” may not be true in all cases, but with the possibility of data being entered wrong, an overlooked email, or a computer failure causing us to miss a voice mail message, we must operate as if "the customer always deserves to be treated with utmost respect and with the recognition that we have entered into what we hope becomes a long term mutually valuable relationship."

A passion for fitness is important, but an extreme commitment isn't necessary. We couldn't have someone who abhors exercise representing our company, but someone who can relate to the frustrations most people face and who is willing to take a few actions to gain control over their own health and well being is ideal.

I've learned that our company grows in direct relation to our personal integrity and we strive to establish a position of trust with the community. I also understand that integrity is an ever-moving evolution and not something achieved in a moment.  If we are to be "excellent" at providing people with the physical improvements they seek, we have to follow the trends within the industry and move accordingly. As the fitness industry evolves, we continue to take the road less traveled, to do whatever it takes to help people see the difference between what we do and what those who make the promise but fail to deliver results do.  Our company operates under a paradigm of excellence and whoever fills this position must understand and share the commitment to doing our absolute best to stand above the rest.

I oversee a team of very good trainers, a growing personal training studio, and a fun boot camp program for women. If you become part of our team, you'll walk a fine line between being a part of our fitness community and being behind a closed door handling "business" related to the execution of our mission.

If you’re still with me after I share the requirements, position description and initial compensation plan, then please take the next step so we can meet to see if you and this unique position are a match.

Requirements:

  • Efficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)

  • Strong Customer Service Skills (Follow Up with Customers & Client Phone Calls)

  • A Willingness to "Go the Extra Mile"

COMPENSATION

I'll pay someone with the right stuff $12 for 40 hours per week to start. Is the compensation enough?  Of course not, but the reward, the gratification, the relationships, the going to bed with a smile on your face, the thank you's you'll hear every day, and . . . the potential to earn more over time should make this ideal for the right person.

If you meet the above qualifications and would love to work with the Adventure Boot Camp Team.....you need to apply today...
