Have you ever thought of running a 5K?
For anyone who has ever wanted to run a 5K (or 3.1 miles)…or just
get some extra cardio in, beginning Monday, July 20 we are forming our next
running group (or power walking, jogging, etc., group).
Each week the running group will be meeting at the
following places & times:
Crossroads Church
at 5:30am on Tuesdays and Thursdays
HealthStyle Fitness Studio
at 7pm on Mondays & Wednesdays and on Saturday
mornings at 7am
And for the next 7 weeks, the running group will slowly
progress and build on the previous week. In the first few weeks of training,
plan on 20 – 25 minutes of training time for each session.
Then on September 7th the group will run the Mercy Plex 5K
at Lunken Airport.
The seven week, 3-day per week run/walk program will easily allow everyone who wants to
complete a 5K plenty of
preparation to succeed.
This group is designed to help you get some extra cardio
in…and prepare for a 5K. There is no pressure involved at all – just an
opportunity to get your heart thumping and is a perfect complement to
Adventure Boot Camp for Women.
